Tree of Life rated  Superb
Aside from having to stare at it (which isn't a hardship) to figure out who has what, and how the roots connect,

This board is perfect. It has great balance, looks amazing with lots of colors, allows for good strategic play, balanced with dice weights.

Superb!

Europa 2210 rated  Superb
I like this board! It's fun, and well balanced, and it doesn't go on forever and ever.

There are lots of ways to strategize a win on this one.

Plays a little better with some fog.

This is a fantastic board. It's loads of fun to play and holds a spot on my favorites list.

It's got great balance, it plays differently depending on the players, and is easy to learn.

Superb gaming experience.

Happy Holidays! rated  Poor
Um, The tree is a good idea.

The hordes are a good idea, but the shape of it makes the game really lopsided, the borders are a little unintuitive and the graphics, well... it's a good effort.

Fog helps, alot.

This board suffers some from it's symmetry, but it can still be fun to play. Be ready for crab in the end!

The way this board plays is... meh. I mean, it's good if you're getting good dice, and it's bad if your getting bad dice.

Essentially very linear... which is... okay.

Heavily favors being agressive... you should be.

This board is good.

It's got good balance, and is fun to play. Lots of options to ensure your beating the other guys. Also, enough territories and borders to lose a bit before you win!

The graphics work are simple, but create a less engaging feeling than the board merits.

All in all, quite good.

Triforce Power rated  Superb
This is an excellently balanced, tightly themed and well conceived board.

The game is fun, and prolly better with 3 or more players and some fog.

The only qualm I have is that sometimes I have to check which territories connect to which, as the system for those connections escapes me regularly.

An excellent game, give it a try!

Rent is Due Again rated  Superb
This game is superb. Love the theme, and the integration of all the elements, I like the balance, although it's no good for less than 3 players.

You have options after you start, but beware, the tide of the dice will be a big determinant once players are established.

Look for the right window to make your move.

Fortress rated  Superb
This board is well balanced, big enough that there is some room for error, and allows for lots of different opportunities and strategies to win.

I like the layout, and would recommend it with more than two players. It'd be perfect, but it has some learning curve, and there are definitely ways to make mistakes. Watch out for the capital in the middle.

Great board to try, learn and play.

Captain's Log rated  Great
I like this board. I wish there was a way to keep the edges from being more powerful than the centres, but the use of stairs does allow for choke points.

If you get bad luck, sorry it's not going to work out for you.

All in all though, great theme, tight gameplay, and alright balance. Don't look for a lot of back and forth on this one.
...and it's fun.

Communicating Doors rated  Fair
There are definitely better places to start on this board than others. As well, if you waste your units on the neutrals, your sunk. Hope for good dice, and watch for the victory cascade. First one to get an edge will definitely get the chance to take it!

That said, good concept and I like the theme. Fair Board.

This a great board. Games are about the right length, lots of interesting ways to win, and lots of chances to be sneaky.

I get hung up on the neutrals. Too many, and they make the beginning game (which is really crucial) super random.

Love the theme, and I like the layout of the board, lots of interesting ways to make progress - and it's simple, which is very effective.

It's a fairly good board.

Coffee Capital rated  Superb
Lots of places to get set up,
A little dice weight here or there,
and just a touch o the elimination cascade to finish off...

Superb!

P.S:
I played this for like a year before I realized it was Seattle. ;)

The Riskiest Catch rated  Poor
I've only played 5 or 6 times, so forgive me, but I find it hard to do anything but kamikazi or die on this board. Starting position is a big factor, the loss to neutral is high, dice play a giant part, I don't see varied strategies and It's a super quick game everytime.

I think with some more thought and balancing it could turn into a good game.

Australian Risk rated  Average
The kind of board you always dreamed you could play when you were a kid:
"...if only there was another Australia, then I could win this..."

Really though, it's only ok.

Sadly, in implementation, the board just ends up with alot of easy to capture continents, and some other connecting territories, so once you're established -no matter where- it's game over.

It's too bad too, the idea really resonates.
